Special guests were Lea Salonga, KC Concepcion, Piolo Pascual, Jed Madela and Ariel Rivera in a Christmas concert like no other! "Homage to Rizal" The 11th Edition of the Settimana della lingua Italiana nel mondo was organized by the Embassy of Italy in collaboration with the UP Department of European Languages. A gift of two brass plaques was given by the Embassy of Italy to the National Historical Commission of the Philippines as a celebration of two very important events in Italian and Philippine history – the 150th year since the Unification of Italy and Jose Rizal’s 150th birthday . The first plaque is the Italian translation of Jose Rizal’s Mi Ultimo Adios and the next is the Braille transcription of the Filipino version of the same poem | Fort Santiago, Intramuros, Manila
